Abstract

|
|
Peptic ulcer disease in childhood is not rare and many physicians may ofter overlook.
The symptomatology and signs of peptic ulcer disease in childhood is obscure and have many differences from those of the adult.
Most of the patients is consulted to doctor with critical conditions following complications of ulcer.
We present 4 cases of peptic ulcer disease with complications of bleeding, perforation and distcrbance of pyloric passage in childhood under the age of 12 years.
Except one case with ulcer bleeding after burn, three patients were treated surgically, and all of our patients discharged in good condition.
We also review the literatures.
